PENTICTON - An all candidates forum focussing on the environment is planned for Penticton mayor and council candidates.

The Okanagan-Similkameen Conservation Alliance and First Things First Okanagan issued a press release today, Oct. 2, inviting Penticton municipal candidates and interested members of the public to an all candidates forum on the environment, climate change and sustainable energy.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Shatford Centre on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A moderator will choose questions from a list of environmental topics and each candidate will have two minutes to respond to each question asked. There will be two rounds of questions.

If time allows, questions taken from the floor will be included.

Municipal election day is Oct. 20.
