PENTICTON - A man well known to Osoyoos RCMP, who was caught at the scene of a break and enter, has been convicted today for possession of stolen property.
Osoyoos RCMP say Cameron McRae, 44, was arrested on January 18 at an Osoyoos winery where police found McRae trying to smash through a fence on the property when the vehicle he was driving became stuck.
Numerous items found in the vehicle were suspected to be stolen, including a credit card which had gone missing from Joe’s Plumbing and Heating in Osoyoos, following a break and enter there on December 14, 2014.
McRae was subsequently charged with possession of stolen property and today, Aug, 21, was convicted of the charge.
