An Osoyoos woman is $50,000 richer following the purchase of a Bingo Blast Scratch & Win lottery ticket.

Sharon Dennison purchased the ticket from 7-Eleven on Main Street in Osoyoos, according to a media release from the B.C. Lottery Corporation.

“I was like, ‘I have four corners, I have four corners!' I went to 7-Eleven and handed the ticket to the retailer. When they scanned it, the machine made a big noise and the amount popped up on the screen. I was so shocked I almost fell over!” Dennison says in the release.

Needless to say, Dennison was pleasantly surprised to find she had won the game’s top prize.

She has no immediate plans for the prize money but remains excited about her windfall, the B.C. Lottery Corporation said.
