BC nurses college warns of fake nurse looking for work

The BC College of Nurses and Midwives says Charrybelle Talaue has been applying for work at a BC hospital, wrongfully claiming to be a registered nurse.

The BC nursing regulator is warning hospitals that an unregistered nurse is trying to find work.

Charrybelle Talaue, who may also be using other names, has falsely portrayed herself as a registered nurse as she tries to get employment at a BC hospital, according to the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

The college issued a public notice today, Oct. 12, but it's not clear where the woman applied for work.

She could be using the names Charrybelle Perez Talaue, Charrybelle Talaue Baldesancho, Belle Talaue, Belle Marie, Charrybelle Baldesancho or Charie Talaue, according to the college.

She isn't a registered nurse in BC and has never been, the college warned.

The notice continued to say she could be using the name of someone else who is registered as a nurse, or a variation of their name, in order to apply. Those include Yves Anglehart or variations Belle Yves Talaue Anglehart and Yves Belle Anglehart, according to the college.

Anglehart is authorized to practice in BC, but works in Ottawa, according to the college.

Talaue did not immediately respond to a request for comment from iNFOnews.ca, but her social media profiles purport that she is a registered nurse in Alberta. A search for her name in the Alberta nurse registry, however, yielded no results.

Although the college did not say where she was applying for work, Talaue's social media suggests she lives in the Victoria area.
