With the fall colours still bright it may be hard to believe that it’s almost time to get your skis and boards waxed.

Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops will welcome thrill-seekers and snow bunnies in less than a month as the lifts are set to start running on Nov 23.

The resort is hoping it will be the first in B.C. to start the lift turning like it was last year with its Nov. 17 opening date.
