The historic Fintry Queen is up for sale, and it’s a bit of a fixer-upper.
The Fintry Queen was originally built in 1947 as a ferry between Kelowna and West Kelowna before the Okanagan Lake Bridge was built in 1958.
Owner Andy Schwab has decided to sell the boat for $550,000 after efforts to convert the boat into something usable did not go according to plan.
The 40-metre long, 326-passenger vessel has seen better days, but the seller sees that its potential is only limited by the imagination of its next owner.

“With spacious decks and charming interior, the Fintry Queen invites creativity and innovation,” the listing said. “This historic vessel offers endless possibilities for conversion, whether you envision it as a vibrant off grid living space, nightclub, or a luxurious floating oasis; the possibilities are endless!”
