Kelowna Hockey Fest is returning to Prospera Place in August, according to a press release from the arena’s owner GSL Group.

The main attraction is the pro game with current and former NHL stars.

Players include Washington Capital Ethan Bear, Columbus Blue Jacket Damon Severson, Winnipeg Jet Brenden Dillon, Toronto Maple Leaf Joel Edmundson, Vancouver Canuck Tyler Meyers, New Jersey Devil Curtis Lazar along with newly drafted up and coming players.

“The love for hockey runs deep in Kelowna and this event offers our community the chance to share their love for the sport and their beautiful city," co-owner of Kelowna High Performance, an event sponsor, Mark Fitzgerald said in the release.

The pro game will have a 50/50 raffle and a game-worn jersey auction with the proceeds going to YMCA of the Southern Interior.

Tickets for the Aug. 23 event go on sale today, June 27. Ticket prices range from $22 to $30 for adults, while children 12 and under get in for $12.
