KELOWNA - A new event is coming to Kelowna and local foodies should be excited.
The first Okanagan Eats Food Show will be held on May 5 and May 6 at the Kelowna Curling Club, according to a media release. Mint Media and Tall Cloud Productions are collaborating to put on the event.
Organizers says it will be "dedicated solely to all things appetizing and delicious.” The event will provide guests with a buffet of food and drinks, as well as live food demos and culinary competitions.
Chef Derrick Fox, a runner-up and fan favourite on season six of Masterchef USA, will be one of the special guests at the event.
Tickets are set to go on sale in April. A day pass for the event are $15, while weekend passes are $25.
