BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Latest on a Montana State University lockdown (all times local):

Montana State University's police chief says a university worker is in custody after a campus lockdown during which people were ordered to stay in locked rooms with window blinds drawn.
Chief Frank Parrish told reporters that the worker's employment was in the process of being terminated when he told a family member and wrote in a social media post that he was suicidal and was ready to take anyone out with him.
The campus was locked down while MSU, Bozeman and Gallatin County law enforcement officers searched for the man. He was arrested inside a campus building.
Parrish says the man owns two shotguns and a rifle but had no weapons when he was arrested.
The man's name hasn't been released.

Montana State University officials briefly ordered people on campus to find shelter inside locked rooms with windows closed and blinds drawn while police responded to what they described as a "situation on the campus."
The notification issued Thursday stood for more than an hour before police officials said the situation was clear and people could resume their normal activities.
It's not immediately clear what threat prompted the alert. University spokesman Michael Becker says he is waiting for that information from police, but that people on campus appeared to be complying with the notification.
A person who answered the phone at the Bozeman Police Department referred questions to Montana State University police.
