KAMLOOPS - You can go craft-crazy for the next six months with the addition of a new indoor craft market in Kamloops.
The Sahali Mall will start a monthly market next month, with more than 60 vendors filling their space for the first event in October.
By teaming up with Sahali Markets, the mall will now host local vendors selling crafts, men's products, holiday decor and kitchen goodies.
Tara Doyle, the administrator with the Sahali Mall, says there will be home-made soaps, up-cycled items, honey, spices, candles and more at the market.
“It was just a need in Kamloops,” Doyle says. “We thought it would be something nice to have a focus on the community.”
The markets will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Oct. 26, Nov. 23, Dec. 14, Feb. 8, and March 21. The last two months of 2019 will have a holiday theme, and the March market will cater to men, and is dubbed ‘Manly Mart.’ The market will take place in two of the units in the mall, and a few merchants placed near the front entrance.
