A missing 40-year-old woman's body was found in Okanagan Lake in the Peachland area and police said her death isn't suspicious.

Stephanie Woodcock, 40, from Port Alberni, was seen in the area of Antlers Beach Regional Park near Peachland on Sept. 3, 2024. Her grey 2009 GMC Yukon, which has been outfitted to live in, was found parked at Antlers Beach.

Her body was recovered by the RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team on April 25, according to an RCMP media release issued, June 17.

The BC Coroners Service investigated and determined the cause of death isn’t suspicious.

RCMP say out of respect and privacy for her family no other details will be released to the public.
