Missing snowboarder found dead at Big White

Big White

The body of a snowboarder last seen at  Big White ski resort at 1 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 26, was found late this morning.

Search and rescue crews from the Central Okanagan, Penticton and Vernon, along with Big White ski patrollers searched for the missing man after he was reported overdue yesterday evening.

The investigation has been turned over the B.C. Coroners Service and no further updates are expected from the RCMP. A news release earlier today said searchers were looking for a missing 42-year-old Kelowna snowboarder who was reported overdue shortly after 5 p.m.
