The body of a missing Cariboo man has been found, according to the Kamloops RCMP.

Police were looking for a 66-year-old man from the Cariboo region after he left Kamloops on his motorcycle Aug. 11 when he didn't arrive home.

"Although a full determination has yet to be made, RCMP do not believe that criminality was involved in the man's sudden death," according to the Kamloops RCMP.

"The BC Coroners Service has been notified and has launched a concurrent fact-finding investigation into the man's death."

All personal information about the missing person has been removed from this article.
