The body of a missing Kamloops man has been recovered from the Thompson River.
Kyle Ferg, 32, was reported missing, Nov. 17, 2023.
On April 16, Kamloops RCMP received a report of a suspected deceased person in the Thompson River after a helicopter flying over the area spotted the body, according to an RCMP news release issued today, April 17.
Along with the Kamloops Search and Rescue volunteers, RCMP recovered the Ferg's body.
RCMP said no criminality is suspected at this time as the BC Coroners Service continues to investigate.
“The Kamloops RCMP Detachment offers its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson, said in the release.
