Merritt high school graduates are being honoured today with a traditional car parade.
Taking place on June 20 at 5 p.m. the parade will begin at Voght Park, head to Quilchena Avenue and then Houston Street, over to Coldwater Avenue and back to the park. The parade will be led by the RCMP and followed by Merritt Fire Rescue, according to a statement from the Merritt Secondary 2020 Parent Executive.

The graduates will be able to show off their floats, and the parade allows family, friends, teachers and community members to support the graduates, according to the statement.
The parent executive is asking that residents practice social distancing during the parade.
