KAMLOOPS - There are ten candidates vying for one of five Kamloops trustee positions on the Kamloops-Thompson school board.
School District No. 73 covers Kamloops and the rural communities of Chase, Barriere, Logan Lake, Savona and Clearwater.
School trustees are responsible for the hiring of principals, vice principals, as well as approving courses and school plans and provide feedback on major decisions regarding school. For more information on what does a school board trustee do go here.
Here is a list of the ten candidates hoping to represent Kamloops on the school board:

Bowen Cooluris
Heather Grieve
Adam Jensen
Kathleen Karpuk (incumbent trustee)
Beat Klossner
John O'Fee
Kerri Schill
Joe Small (incumbent trustee)
Meghan Wade (incumbent trustee)
