A 36-year-old Vernon man has been charged with aggravated assault following a stabbing that took place in the early evening one night last month at the 2800-block of 35 Avenue.
A Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release says Christopher Robert Hubley has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of breach of probation in relation to the incident.
In an earlier media release, police say a 38-year-old man with stab wounds entered a location in the 2600-block of 27 Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 27.
The victim suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested four people in relation to the attack and said they believed the attack was targeted.
Police arrested Hubley on Dec. 8 and he remains in custody until his next court appearance which will take place at a later date.
In 2013 Hubley was sentenced to one year in jail after repeatedly dealing drugs from out of a motorhome.
