KAMLOOPS — A man suspected of robbing four different Kamloops convenience stores within 30 hours has been released on bail.

Ian S. McPherson, 44, was charged with four counts of robbery in connection to four armed robberies at different convenience stores. Court documents show McPherson was released on bail earlier this week, April 30.

On April 15, Kamloops RCMP issued a media release stating they were looking for a man accused of robbing three different Kamloops businesses within 24 hours. In each incident, the man brandished a large knife as a weapon.

Later that same day, police responded to a robbery at the Parkcrest Neighbourhood store. Police set up a containment area and located the suspect vehicle in Batchelor Heights.

McPherson is due back in court on May 21.
