A couple’s symbol of eternal love may have been found in the Penticton Channel.
A swimmer found a men's wedding ring in the channel, Aug. 18, and turned it into the Penticton cop shop, according to an RCMP media release.
“The ring is a men’s wedding band with the inscription: NOEL LOVES STEPHANIE and then a date,” Penticton RCMP media relations officer Const. Dayne Lyons said in the release.
“This may be the one ring to rule them all, and we want to return it!” Const. Lyons said.

If Noel or Stephanie want their ring back, police will ask for the date that was also inscribed. Officers will also ask what type of metal the ring is.
For more information give the Penticton RCMP detachment a call at 250-492-4300.
If it's your ring, you can claim it at the Penticton RCMP detachment and quote reference number 2022-13135.
