Princess Peach is not only the Penticton SPCA's resident chunky monkey, she's also their resident beauty.
She is around four years old and recently had a shave due to severe matting.
"She was very timid when she came in, but since her pain has been alleviated, she has been warming up to people," the team at the South Okanagan SPCA say.
"She likes snuggles on her terms and prefers to sit by her human and stealing their body heat. She has been on low-calorie food in shelter and is already in much better shape. This nutrition routine will have to continue on into her new home to ensure optimal health."
All this princess is missing is her castle! If you would like to rescue this sweet peach and give her a happily ever after story, go to the Penticton BC SPCA.
