KAMLOOPS - Little Zorro is a very handsome dwarf rabbit found as a stray in a backyard.

Zorro is still young and needs to get used to being handled. With continued socialization he will improve. Zorro loves to snuggle and may lick your face. He gets a bit overzealous with the grooming and may gently nibble, which can be startling.

He may not be suited for young children because his nipping may scare them. Zorro gets very excited when he sees someone he recognizes and will run around trying to get their attention. He enjoys climbing on his human friends and loves to dig in soft materials. Zorro loves treats, which will be very useful for his training.

Rabbits are intelligent social animals who require caring, attentive and affectionate keepers. Their average life span, depending on size and breed, is generally between seven to 12 years. They can be litter box trained, though Zorro is still working on this. It is important to have a good diet including pellet and vegetables, plus access to hay 24 hours a day. Rabbits need room for exercise several hours a day and an environment with plenty of enrichment.

Zorro's Animal ID is 426771.

Visit the Kamloops Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
