Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS - Chaplin is a two-year-old stray that came into the care of the B.C. SPCA on July 25, 2016.

This sweet, but shy guy has been a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment and is looking for a quiet and loving home. He likes to have hiding areas to feel safe.

If you are patient, gentle and live in a quiet home, this cat will certainly come out of his shell for you. He loves attention and will roll around when he gets it. He takes a while to adjust to a new environment and probably would do best in a home without young children.

At this point the SPCA staff don't know how he will do with other animals so testing and proper, slow introductions would be needed. He doesn't seem to mind other cats but because he is scared in the shelter, it may be different in a home.

Chaplin will make a loving and loyal companion in the right home.

Chaplin's Animal ID is 409374.

Visit the Kamloops Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
