The last day to lace up your skates and hit the ice at Kelowna' Stuart Park ice rink has finally arrived.
“We know just how beloved the Stuart Park rink is, and we try and extend our skating season as long as we can,” Steve Fagan, arenas and stadiums supervisor said, in a press release.
“But with the warmer weather we’ve been having the last few weeks, the ice surface can no longer be maintained.”
The ice will be removed tomorrow, Feb. 26, and the fire pit will also be turned off until next skating season.
Dancing in the Park will return in summer on Wednesday evenings throughout July and August and roller skating enthusiasts can look forward to the return of Retro Roller Night.
