A 45-year-old Kelowna man, who has generated more than 400 police files and been charged with 64 crimes since 2016, is out of jail and the RCMP want the pubic to be aware.
Some of the crimes include violent assaults, robbery, theft, mischief and indecent acts, according to an RCMP media release.
Justin Collins was arrested for assault, theft of mail and mischief, Aug 21. He appeared before a judge and was released by the courts with more conditions.
RCMP said Collins is such a concern for public safety, it's taken the unusual step of advising the public.
“Kelowna RCMP continue to make arrests and bring Collins to court, however without adequate consequences or compulsory pathways to Mental Health and Substance Use programs, our public is at risk,” Kelowna’s top cop Supt. Kara Triance said in the release.
“Justin Collins is a repeat offender who has no regard for the safety and well being of others.”
If you see Collins involved in a criminal act, RCMP ask you to call 911 and report him.
