KELOWNA - Late last night firefighters battled a structure fire that turned out to be a grow op.
Platoon Captain Steve Wallick says at around 11:46 p.m. a 911 call came in reporting a structure fire in the 1600 block of McCurdy Road.
Wallick says when crews arrived, the 40' x 60' building was engulfed in flames.
The resident who was on the property said it was a legal grow op.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
