A structure fire blazed on Kent Road in Kelowna this morning, but the fire department successfully put it out.
The fire was reported around 9:20 a.m. according to a press release.
Several fire engines, RCMP cruisers, and ambulances were on the scene near Orchard Park Mall.
PM Automotive caught fire and suffered some damage, it’s unclear whether the neighbouring tire shop was significantly damaged before fire crews extinguished the flames.
Firefighters on the scene declined to comment.
The fire department is asking the public to steer clear of the area.
Firefighters, BC Ambulance Service, RCMP, and FortisBC were still on the scene as of noon.
