Kangaroo Creek Farm asks driver to come forward after gate destroyed

Members of the Kangaroo Creek Farm are asking for a vandal to come forward after the farm's fence was wrecked last night.

"Could the person who hit our gate last night come forward please so that a claim can be made through ICBC. We cannot afford to replace that gate. Looks like you slid across the intersection in the rain. Hope you are not hurt. I'd rather not take the footage off of the cameras and go through the RCMP. That would be a hassle for everyone," according to the farm's Facebook post, June 12.

The Kangaroo Creek Farm recently opened at its new location in Kelowna near the Kelowna International Airport, with new social distancing measures in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moving from Lake Country after years in the district's downtown, the petting zoo is located at 5932 Old Vernon Road.
