On May 15, between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., the occupants of a brown Toyota Rav4 were involved in an altercation at Tranquille-Criss Creek Road, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release.

Then around 5:30 a.m., police received a report of a single-vehicle collision at the intersection of Tranquille and Ord Roads.

Kamloops RCMP believe at least two vehicles may have been around to witness the Toyota at the crash and the assault.

According to police, there was a car that honked and a small white car.
