Kamloops RCMP have released new images related to an arson investigation in Brocklehurst.
On March 13, at around 3 a.m., RCMP officers were called to a house on the 1700-block of Brunner Avenue, according to an RCMP media release.
Firefighters were already on the scene when officers arrived and smoke could be observed coming out the windows.
Two people were reported as throwing something into the house and then fleeing the area.
No one was injured during the fire but it is being investigated as an arson.
“Since then, police have located video capturing the images of men and a light-coloured truck in the area of Brunner Avenue,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
“Police are releasing the images with the hope that someone will be able to identify any of the three men, or have more information available which could help further the investigation.”
The vehicle is described as an older model pickup truck. It was silver or beige and hard a dark canopy on the back.
One of the suspects is described as an older Caucasian man with a sharp nose. He was wearing a beige flat cap, a beige jacket over the top of a red zip-up jacket with a white zipper down the middle and around a left chest pocket.
He was also wearing dark pans and light or beige shoes.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian man. He had facial hair and was wearing a dark jacket and a sweater with the hood up. He also had blue jeans on and dark shoes.
The final suspect was a Caucasian man wearing a blue ball cap and jacket. He also had dark jeans and black and white shoes.
Anyone with information, including any dash camera or security video that may have captured footage that may be related to this incident, is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-7335.
