RCMP investigators are releasing the identity and a photo of a man they believe was beaten and left near Kamloops almost a year ago who recently died from those injuries.

Tk'emlúps Rural RCMP officers were called to where Bradley Germann-Wilson was found by the side of the Yellowhead Highway and Paul Lake Road just before 7 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2024, according to a press release from police.

RCMP say Germann-Wilson was obviously injured and he was taken to hospital, but he never recovered and died recently.

“Based on the investigation so far, it is suspected that Bradley may be the victim of an assault and could have received his injuries hours before he was located,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier said in the release.

“It’s unknown how long Bradley had been in Kamloops, but he is believed to have previously been in the Terrace area.

"The Kamloops RCMP Detachment’s Serious Crime Unit are hopeful that by sharing Bradley’s name and photo, someone will have information to assist the investigation.”

Police are asking anyone who has information about Germann-Wilson to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2024-28673.
