The Crime Reduction Unit was out on the street and made several seizures and arrests, according to a press release from police.

A few hours before police made a traffic stop on a vehicle associated with a local drug trafficker on March 27. Officers found fentanyl, meth and cocaine which was seized for destruction.

The driver was prohibited so officers impounded the vehicle and released the driver with a court date.

Officers patrolling around Hillside Way seized another gun around 10 p.m. on March 29. Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle that was seen at a home associated with drug activity.

Police arrested two people for drug possession and found a modified rifle. Both suspects were released without process as police continue to investigate.
