PRINCETON - The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating a dirt bike crash in the Princeton area over the weekend that claimed the life of a Kamloops man.
A 26-year-old Kamloops man died from the injuries he suffered in the crash that took place near Tulameen, north of Princeton, on Saturday, June 30. Police have not released the man's identity.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy said in a release police and other emergency crews responded to the scene along Coalmont Road around 5 p.m.
Witnesses told police the motorcycle was travelling at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a corner on the road.
