Kamloops in the hot seat tonight against Portland

The Blazers held their sticks and heads high after a tough game four loss in Kamloops putting them down 3-1 in the series.

It's do or die tonight for the Kamloops Blazers.

The Blazers are down 3-1 in the Western Conference Final series against the Portland Winterhawks after losing Wednesday night on home ice.

The teams face-off again in Portland tonight for game five, and Kamloops fans know better than to give up hope at this stage of the game.

In last year's playoff run, the Blazers dominated under pressure, coming back and tying up the series after a 3-0 lead by Portland. Unfotunately, they were ultimately knocked out in game seven.

The Blazers have already surpassed their usual playoff accomplishments by making it to the third round for the first time in 14 years. They beat the Victoria Royals in round one 4-2 and swept the Kelowna Rockets in round two.

But Kamloops fans have raised their expectations.

Puck drops tonight at 7 p.m. Follow the action live with a Kamloops InfoTel reporter on Twitter.
