Investigation continues into motor vehicle incidents in Penticton

Police investigations continue into two motor vehicle collisions in the city earlier this week.

PENTICTON  - Penticton RCMP are investigating two motor vehicle collisions in the area this week.

First was a collision that took place on the Channel Parkway last weekend. Police spokesperson Sgt. Andrew Baylis said a southbound Toyota Corolla collided with two motorcycles while making a left hand turn around 5 p.m., Sunday, July 23.

Police believe the Corolla turned in front of the motorcyclists. One driver suffered major but non-life threatening injuries.

Also on July 23, police responded to a single vehicle rollover in the 5,000 block of Eastside Road, where they found one occupant with minor injuries, while the driver fled the scene.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
