After suffering through tough times during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kelowna’s KF Aerospace is bouncing back and looking to hire 50 people.

The company plans to hire immediately for full and part-time positions ranging from entry level to skilled trades and professional services, it says in a news release issued today, Sept. 7.

“We have a wide variety of excellent opportunities right now at KF, especially for those just beginning their careers or those looking to jump back in,” Grant Stevens, chief corporates cervices officer said in the release. “You don’t need to have a diploma or degree for many of these positions. We invest in our employees’ training and education and there’s lots of room to grow.”

In October last year, the company reduced its 1,100 person workforce by about 14 per cent through voluntary long term leaves, retirements and some layoffs.

KF Aerospace is Canada’s largest company providing maintenance, repair and overhaul commercial aircraft, the release said.
