Two pro mountain bikers fly through a pair of new trails built near Monte Lake in a new Red Bull video.
Parallel II follows B.C. rider, Brandon Semenuk, and British rider, Kade Edwards, as they flow through a new trail in the fire-ravaged landscape east of Kamloops.
It's a sequel to its first iteration, Parallel, from 2019, and the clip shows the pair weaving together on flowy berms and massive jumps. It was posted to Youtube on July 20.
The Monte Lake area was scorched by the White Rock Lake wildfire last summer, which was one of the largest in the province.
When it burned through the Monte Lake area, it took a mountain bike destination with it, dubbed The Farm by local trail builders Landmark Trailworks.
Semenuk and Edwards ride through the new trails and burned forest, bringing renewed mountain bike trails back to Monte Lake.
