PENTICTON – RCMP won’t comment on a two-vehicle car crash in Penticton last night, which may be connected to a police search involving the RCMP helicopter.
There was a collision involving a car and van in the intersection of Paris Street and Brandon Avenue at around 7 p.m., June 18.
The three occupants of the van jumped out and fled on foot, according to a Global Okanagan report. Police apparently made one arrest immediately, but it appears two others got away.
The RCMP helicopter along with numerous police vehicles and officers conducted a search, the report says.
RCMP will not comment on last night’s events saying a statement will be released tomorrow.
