MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Cole Jordan led the way with two goals as the Moose Jaw Warriors earned a 5-2 victory over the Regina Pats on Thursday.
The Warriors (6-4-0) opened the game with a 2-0 lead, courtesy of Jordan and Brayden Yager, nine minutes into the first period. After Stanislav Svozil put the Pats (6-5-0-1) on the board under a minute after Yager's goal, Moose Jaw went on a run.
Denton Mateychuk, Tate Schofer and Jordan all scored as the Warriors scored three unanswered to go up 5-1. Connor Bedard added one more for the Pat 7:04 into the third period.
Jackson Unger made 23 saves in the win. Drew Sim stopped 37-of-24 shots he faced in a losing effort.
