Lee's three-point effort leads Tigers' 6-1 drubbing of Wheat Kings

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Brendan Lee recorded two goals and one assist as the Medicine Hat Tigers blew out the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-1 on Wednesday.

Hunter St. Martin, Dru Krebs, Tomas Mrsic and Owen MacNeil also scored for the Tigers (6-9-3-1). Oasiz Wiesblatt notched three assists while Beckett Langkow made 18 saves in the win.

Jake Chiasson scored the lone goal for the visiting Wheat Kings (7-12-2). Carson Bjarnason stopped 26-of-31 shots before being replaced by Nicholas Jones, who made five saves.

Chiasson's power-play goal made it a 2-1 game 14:29 into the first period before Medicine Hat widened its gap. The Tigers scored four unanswered goals with the final three coming in a span of 1:15 early in the third period.
