            EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers signed winger Taylor Beck to a one-year contract on Sunday.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals and 17 assists in 50 games last season for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
The six-foot-two, 203-pound forward was scoreless in two games with the New York Islanders in 2015-16.
Beck, from St. Catharines, Ont., has previously played 87 career NHL games with the Nashville Predators and New York Islanders, scoring 11 goals and 12 assists.
