NARAMATA - The wineries of the Naramata Bench are gathering for the annual Naramata Tailgate Party coming up next month.

Join the 30 wineries from the Naramata Bench in this annual food and wine event on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Naramata Heritage Inn from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The celebration of harvest includes wine tastings, tapas and tunes throughout the evening. Taste the terroir through locally made wines and enjoy creative tapas from local chefs while listening to live music in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Several Naramata restaurants will be represented and there will be an opportunity to meet the local grape growers. This year’s theme is the Roaring Twenties, the era when Naramata and the Naramata Heritage Inn were in their early days.

Prizes will be available for the best costumes.

For more information, including details on shuttles to the event and ticket, see the Naramata Bench website here. You can also buy tickets over the phone at 1-800-656-0713.
