OKANAGAN - While gas prices were trending downwards earlier this week drivers in the Okanagan didn’t get a break, unless they were up in Kamloops where prices dipped well below a dollar per litre.
According to Gas Buddy, an online consumer reporting website, gas prices are currently in the 107.9 to 109.9 cents per litre range at many Okanagan stations, though a couple of stations were reporting prices at 105.9 cents per litre around the noon hour today, Nov. 20.
These prices are well below the average B.C. gas price of 114.7 cents per litre, but well above the 95.9 cents per litre many stations in Kamloops are charging. The cheapest gas in Kamloops is currently 90.9 cents per litre, the lowest in the province.
The average gas price across Canada is 101.4 cents per litre and Gas Buddy notes prices are holding steady today.
