Kelowna RCMP have found the body of a man who had been missing since Aug. 25.
80-year-old Ronald Junior “Turk” Turchinsky was reported missing Aug. 27 though he hadn't been seen since Aug. 25 in the Vernon area. Police said in a release this morning, his body was found Aug. 28.
The death is not considered suspicious at this time but the B.C. Coroners Services is investigating to determine where, when and how he died.
No further information is being released, according to an RCMP news release.
