Fire consumes North Okanagan barn

A barn was completely destroyed in a fire that started Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 in Spallumcheen.

SPALLUMCHEEN - A North Okanagan barn went up in flames Friday.

The fire started around 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at a property on Lansdowne Road, just outside Armstrong.

At least one outbuilding on the property was completely engulfed in flames. It is unknown if any other structures were damaged.

There is a home on the property.

Police and the fire department are at the scene.
