The Duchess on Tranquille is offering exotic entertainment, again.

After a brief hiatus, Kamloops' only strip club has returned.
The Duchess on Tranquille announced in October that, effective Nov. 2, the club would remove exotic dancers and switch gears and become a nightclub venue.
However, that switch didn't take hold for long.
"Due to the high demand for 'Exotic Entertainment' at the Duchess, we have decided to continue with our live performers," the club said Saturday, Nov. 9. "We are also looking forward to our future Nightclub events and live performances."
It isn't the first time in the club's history that it vowed to stop offering exotic entertainment.
In June 2013, after transferring to new ownership, the venue was set to shift to a restaurant and pub while operating as a part-time nightclub. That decision was also quickly reversed.
