The secret is out.

Enderby's Starlight Drive-In is well-loved by locals and now the rest of Canada is going to know how great it is.

Readers Digest has released a list of the 11 best drive-in theatres across Canada and the Starlight made the cut.

"Built in 1996, Starlight Drive-In may be a recent addition to Canada’s drive-in roster, but what it lacks in history, it more than makes up for in size. Measuring 15 metres tall and 36 metres wide, the Starlight’s drive-in screen is the largest in North America," according to Reader's Digest.

Founder Terry Jones told a local paper at the time of construction, “We think it’s come full circle… People are tired of just watching videos.”

The top five are in Newmarket, Ontario, Sussex East, New Brunswick, Gravenhurst, Ontario, Cambridge, Nova Scotia and Flin Flon, Manitoba.

The final weekend at the Enderby drive-in will be Sept. 4 and 5.
