Police were called to the single-vehicle crash at around 2:30 a.m. today, Aug. 26, on Highway 97 near Drought Road in Peachland, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP say the stolen Toyota pickup hit a concrete barrier and power pole, then rolled several times, coming to rest on Drought Road.

The 27-year-old woman driving the pickup was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The pickup was stolen from Vernon on Aug. 13, police say.
