Two B.C. doctors who faced disciplinary measures related to their stance on COVID are headlining the Justice for the Vaccinated bus tour, which is making stops throughout the Okanagan.

Justice for the Vaccinated is an anti-vax organization. "Our first priority is to stop the vaccination efforts so that no one else needlessly dies or becomes injured," according to the website.

At each event, Dr. Stephen Malthouse and Dr. Charles Hoffe will be discussing adverse reactions and treatments, according to posters for the events in Vernon, West Kelowna and Penticton.

Malthouse was suspended from practicing earlier in 2022 amid allegations he circumvented COVID-19 public health orders, and Hoffe had his emergency room privileges revoked in 2021 for promoting "vaccine hesitancy.”

On the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C.’s directory, Hoffe is currently listed as a practising doctor while Malthouse’s status is “suspended.”

The bus tour will be in Vernon at the Prestige Hotel on Oct. 28, in West Kelowna at the Lions Hall Oct. 29, and then the Penticton Lakeside Resort and Conference Centre on Oct. 30.

There are currently no COVID restrictions in effect in British Columbia.
