GATINEAU, Que. - A Quebec man who has been charged with manslaughter after allegedly shaking his infant daughter was granted bail Wednesday.
Daniel Lefebvre's identity was made public after a judge in Gatineau lifted a publication ban.
Lefebvre, 25, must undergo a psychological evaluation.
He was orginally charged with aggravated assault after the seven-week-old girl was found unconscious on July 15.
The charge was upgraded after her death a few days later.
Lefebvre will return to court Oct. 5.
