GATINEAU, Que. - A Quebec man who has been charged with manslaughter after allegedly shaking his infant daughter was granted bail Wednesday.

Daniel Lefebvre's identity was made public after a judge in Gatineau lifted a publication ban.

Lefebvre, 25, must undergo a psychological evaluation.

He was orginally charged with aggravated assault after the seven-week-old girl was found unconscious on July 15.

The charge was upgraded after her death a few days later.
