A crash on the Trans Canada between Salmon Arm and Sicamous has closed the route in both directions, Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.

SICAMOUS - Highway 1 has reopened in the Shuswap between Salmon Arm and Sicamous after a vehicle crash.
Drive B.C. says the Trans Canada has reopened to single lane alternating traffic about eight kilometres west of Sicamous.
Unconfirmed reports on social media say two vehicles were involved in the collision, there is a fuel spill and black ice may have been a factor.
No word yet if anyone was injured.
